What is it?

The Big Draw festival is an international event that celebrates the benefits of drawing as a tool for communication, innovation, learning, and social engagement. After strong interest in the 2016 event, Big Draw returns to UWA in October 2017 with the theme of Living Lines

The UWA Cultural Precinct will host the Big Draw Living Lines Festival across several venues at UWA, with events including: 

  • Drawing workshops and activities
  • Virtual Reality (VR) drawing sessions using TiltBrush
  • Performance drawing events
  • Residencies
  • Talks and seminars
  • Installations and more

 VR drawing suitable for ages 10+

When is it?

The festival will run from the 12th to the 21st of October, Tuesday to Saturday, with activities running between 11:30am and 4:30pm. 

Given the previous high demand for TiltBrush, the VR drawing activity will be split into four sessions across the day.
